ST-7602NBS Smoke Density Test Chamber of Plastic Burning

Standards: According to ASTM E662, BS6401 & Def Stan 02-711, GB/T 10671, ISO5659 and GB/T8323 etc.

Used range: This tester has been applied to determine smoke density and wildly accepted by many industries, such as plastics, rubbers, cover fabrics, painted surfaces, woods, etc.

Test conditions: According to difference material for Flaming test and non-flaming both conditions

Structure: This test consist of Test Chamber, Optical measurement system, Radiant heat furnace, Burning system, Weighting meter, ignition, Specimen Holder, Framework, Thermometer and special software of smoke density measuring

**Test Chamber:

1. Chamber size: L1822 * W860 * H1970mm

2. Inner size : L914mm * D610mm * H914mm

3. Test chamber: It consists of a closed combustion test chamber, a photometric measuring system, a radiation cone device, a combustion system, a weighing instrument, an igniter, a test box, a bracket, a temperature measuring instrument, and a smoke density testing software.

4. Optical Windows: 2 optical windows with diameter of 75mm, and mounted in the top and bottom of the cabinet. a 9W heater on it to assure the temperature on the surface of optical windows between 50~55oC.

5. Inlet: An inlet event with shutter shall be provide in the front of the chamber at the top and away from the furnace, and an exhaust event with shutter shall be provided in the bottom of the chamber to lead. the diameter of 65mm,closed and open by the solenoid valve

6. Exhaust: the exhaust with shutter shall be provided in the bottom of the chamber to lead. nozzle diameter is Φ80mm,  via flexible pipe with a diameter of 50~100mm to an extraction fan capable of creating a negative pressure of at least 0.5kPa.

7. Pressure measuring system of the chamber: Water Pressure gauge having a range of 1.5kPa and installation on the front with a pressure sensor which range of 0-2kPa, accuracy is ±2Pa;

8. Chamber temperature measuring: Diameter is 1.0mm temperature sensor installation back wall of the chamber

9. Accuracy: ±3%

10. Power supply: 220V/AC, 50Hz,  4kW;

11. Environment temperature: RT-40℃
